Safety
Most losses in a crypto community are not bad trades. They are scams.
The three rules
- Nobody from Axion will DM you first. If a message arrives unprompted claiming to be staff, an analyst or support, it is an impersonator.
- Nobody will ever ask for your seed phrase, password or funds. There is no verification step, test transfer or upgrade that requires them.
- Check the invite and the domain. We publish both on official links. Anything else is not us.
Common patterns to expect
- A “staff member” offering to manage your account or trade for you.
- A giveaway or airdrop that needs a wallet connection or a small deposit first.
- A copy of a real member’s profile picture and name, messaging their contacts.
- An urgent DM about your membership expiring, with a payment link.
- Screenshots of profits offered as proof that you should send someone money.
Reporting
Report privately through a ticket in the Discord rather than publicly in a channel — public accusations tend to expose the reporter and rarely help. Include the account name, a message link and a screenshot if you have them.
Trading risk is separate
Avoiding scams does not make trading safe. Leverage can liquidate a position on a move smaller than you expect, and total loss is a realistic outcome. Read the risk disclosure before acting on anything you read in the community.
